Our client is a fund management firm with AUM in the billions and is backed by some of the world's largest financial institutions.
Description
1. To lead and manage the Finance, Accounting and Tax function
2. Develop Annual Budget and Business Plan and ensure appropriate resourcing to support the delivery of such plans.
3. Challenge assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
4. Ensure the Company's financial systems are robust enough to support current activities and future growth.
5. Manage relationship with external stakeholders to ensure the Company meets its obligations and achieves its strategic goals.
6. Lead and develop a high performance credible finance team who partners the businesses to achieve goals in a well-governed and sustainable manner.
7. Support other functions of the Company in meeting their business objectives.
Profile
The successfully candidate should be a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and is familiar with the accounting for various financial instruments, in particular the application of IFRS9 accounting standards.
* Experienced in leading a Finance operation that supports multiple business units preferably in the financial sector.
* Experienced in setting up and managing an efficient and effective shared service centre that leverages on technology.
* The successful candidate should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a high level of accountability, maturity and integrity. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to innovate, research and solve unfamiliar problems in a resourceful manner.
* Think systematically and able to leverage on IT to solve problems.
* The successful candidate should be articulate, insightful and influential leader with exceptional communication skills at all levels. He/she is confident in engaging with senior management and external stakeholders.
* Candidate with consolidation experience will have an edge.
