Reporting to the COO, your main tasks are to support the portfolio managers on daily trade transactions, and perform daily and monthly back office duties, including net asset value calculation and reconciliations, fund expenses and payment preparations and management, accounts maintenance, trade confirmations, and settlements. You will also monitor all corporate action events for the Firm’s investment in the Greater China market, as well as liaise extensively with prime brokers and internal front office colleagues on trade reconciliations, unmatched trades, corporate actions, and settlement issues.
To qualify, you must have 5 - 8 years of experience in fund accounting and operations in a fund house and/or with a fund administration. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields is needed, as well as knowledge in Greater China equities. The ability to manage and instruct the execution brokers/prime brokers to resolve daily issues is highly preferred. You must have strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
