Reporting to the Financial Controller

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role includes:

Debtors Ledger & Credit Control

Creditors Ledger

Accruals & Prepayments

Analysing & Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts

Process Weekly payroll

Maintain Fixed Asset Register

Assist with the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in the format of the Resort's Financial Reporting Suite.
Review monthly results and prepare detailed variance analysis for review by Financial Controller
Assist the FC in the development, implementation and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure that all relevant records are prepared and filed for the following taxes - VAT, PAYE/PRSI and CT
Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaising with our external auditors.
Inventory analysis, gross margin analysis and reporting of same
Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
Attend and present at relevant finance meetings
Preparation of weekly and monthly forecasted cash flows
Assist the FC and Senior Management Team in the preparation of budgets & forecasts
To participate in any training/development schemes as recommended by leadership team.

Necessary Skills;

Excellent working knowledge of Excel, payroll software and accounting software

Finalist/Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CGMA)

Strong communication and influencing skills

High standard of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
