A super opportunity has arisen within this well known, local, established business for an Accounts Assistant. This is a varied role, working in a fast paced team, reporting to the Senior UK Financial Accountant.
The duties include
* Management of inventory and goods,
* Preparing reconciliations and investigating any variances between ledgers and stock records.
* Assist in the interim and year end audit process,
* Preparation of external auditors,
* Provide support for the warehouse inventory count and review pricing,
* Duty and freight variances.
This role is suited to a candidate who is AAT qualified or holds previous experience working within a finance department, who has working knowledge of the sales ledger and purchase ledger operation, who has a keen and positive manner and who is confident liaising at all levels. Strong Excel skills are required as is the ability to work to tight deadlines, you will also need to assist other colleagues when required. Previous experience of stock is an advantage
