Our Client, a growing fund administrator, is looking to expand their Real Estate Fund Accounting team. This is an unique role which this individual will liaise closely with the Japanese team based in Japan.

Requirements:
  • Contribute towards a team covering one or more client relationships
  • Manage a team and review the work
  • Liaise closely with clients based in Japan
  • Deliver accurate and timely work product within specified deliverables timelines, and in coordination with the Manager and other team members
  • Review/prepare all transaction documentation and supporting files, and understand the features of the investment transactions, accruals, etc.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, process journal entries, and prepare supporting financial schedules
  • Handle daily/routine client information requests

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Japanese Speaking as you will be required to liaise with the Japan stakeholders
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience working within fund accounting, preferably within Real Estate or Big 4 Firm.
  • Candidates with less than 5 years of experience may be considered for junior position
  • Deadline oriented with ability to complete assigned tasks independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel skills
  • Team player
