Job Responsibilities
Requirements
- Ensure compliance to tax laws and regulations while developing efficient tax strategies to optimize business activities and cross border transactions.
- In respect to investment activities, take the lead in the analysis and structuring of how best to invest and address tax issues such as repatriation of profits, divestment and capital gains tax.
- Participate in transfer pricing discussions with subsidiaries around the world.
- Address permanent establishment issues and indirect tax issues in countries of operations.
- Manage external tax consultants for the Industrial Group.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or relevant.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in taxation, preferable with exposure to marine and shipping industries.
- Experience in handling tax for Indonesia or Thailand would be an added advantage.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
