Job Description
As a Manager Finance and Administration your responsibilities include the following

• Manage the day to day accounting operations and internal controls including regulatory compliance Product line P&L management including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting i.e. complete accounting responsibility up to finalizations as per the Companies Act and as per Income Tax Act
• Taxation matters including both Direct & Indirect tax including filing of returns and all other legal payments and documentation of the same
• Business and financial strategy planning including analysis and recommendations for improving product margin, ROI, cost controls and profitability analysis
• Maintaining books of accounts, finalization of accounts, audit, customer billing and related commercial matters, collections management etc
• Prepare budgets for the financial year and monitor the budget with respect to expenditures and adopting appropriate steps for managing the allocated budget, engineering program cost and spending control, implementing internal controls wherever needed
• Overall cash management including receivables, payables, and working capital
• Co-ordinate with the field teams for monthly reports, figures and performance details
• Planning, implementing and maintaining financial information systems along with associated internal controls and reporting monthly financial and operational MIS
• Ensure monthly sales reports, profit and loss statements, Balance Sheet etc be sent to the Global Finance Director on time
• Interface with the internal and external auditors as a focal point for efficient management of the Statutory, Tax, Transfer Pricing and Internal Audits as a part of Corporate Governance
• Ensure compliance with statutory & accounting laws & principles
• Ensuring completeness / accuracy of SAP transactions (own generated and supply chain), maintaining Indian GAAP and US GAAP books of account, accruals. Working in tandem with UK finance team
• Support to UK in credit management
• Payroll computations
• Financial reporting to UK / US as required.
• Ensuring compliance with SOX controls
• Ensures all organizational and statutory policies/requirements are adhered to

Desired Candidate Profile

• CA with 8 to 10 years of experience in a company including functions other than finance
• Some knowledge of UK and / or US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Computer literate in Office and SAP or close equivalent
• Be reactive to problem situations and proactive in moving the business and its statutory requirements going forward
• Act as the primary contact with local lawyers on legal issues and provide support on contractual matters
• Must have excellent English, both written and verbal
