Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for the finance operation functions which include accounts payable, treasury, month end close process, general ledger, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
This position will also be responsible for implementing financial controls, for ensuring compliance with group and local accounting standards and tax regulations.
This position also works with the business function leaders, to support the business in the roll out of new products/distribution into operation in considering its impact to finance operations.
What you'll need to succeed
You are required to have at least 5 years of relevant experience within the general insurance or reinsurance industry in financial reporting or finance operations. A degree or professional qualification in Accountancy is a must, Chartered Accountant is highly preferred.
Being a management role, previous experience of managing teams is preferred. This role is open to candidates straight from big 4.
