Responsibilities:
1. Follow up on online pricing with our competitors on daily (sometimes hourly) bases and benchmark the prices in coordination with the buying team to keep our online price competitiveness.
2. Responsible for recommending and executing strategic pricing for assigned categories, channels and sales types utilizing price modelling tools and price optimization software. Monitor the weekly progress of sales within price sensitive categories.
3. Works closely with the buying team to guarantee the best price for the online business
4. identify trends, monitor sales, margin and inventory performance, and forecast the impact of pricing actions across all categories
5. Analyses sales and margin performance and interprets customer and competitor behaviour to provide guidance and recommendations for strategic pricing at the SKU, category, department, and Buying Team level across assigned categories, channels and sales types.
6. Leverages competitive price information and market analysis to formulate price recommendations. Includes forecasts of changes in sales, margin, and unit performance with pricing recommendations
7. Enters and executes price changes into SAP, Price Optimization software and other systems.
