Finance Manager

A great opportunity for a proven finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. This would be an ideal role for a Management Accoutant/Finance Manager looking to progress into a senior role.

You will be reporting into the Head of Finance and support with management and day to day activity of the finance team.

Client Details

A well-known construction company based in Northampton. Due to company growth they have created this new position to support the Head of Finance in the running of the Finance department.

Description

You will be responsible for the following:

• Assist with month end reporting
• Assisting the Head of Finance with budgets & forecasting
• VAT returns
• CIS returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee the day to day activity of the finance team

Profile

The successful candidate will have previous commercial exposure in management accounting, reporting, forecasting and reconciliation work.

You will also need to possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present financial data to senior management with commentary in a structured manner.

You will also need to be either part qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or QBE in order to have the right skill set for my client.
