- Provide ongoing, timely and accurate analysis of monthly financial results to support month-end and quarter-end close processes for legal entities and consolidated Private Banking Canada and Asia.
- Provide and document the monthly performance of various lines of business/function for financial information packages.
- Supervise the preparation of month/quarter end journal entries of team members.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly reconciliations for various accounts of team members.
- Prepare/support preparation of monthly reporting packages and Financial Statements, (including tax payments and reconciliations where necessary), in accordance with IFRS, or similar financial frameworks and within the agreed upon timelines, reviewing all information against budget and back-ups to check for reasonableness, escalating any areas of concern and making amendments, if necessary.
Finance Manager is to analyze and report on the financial performance of the legal entity/business to support the quarter-end and year-end close process including regulatory and external reports and attestation to the validity of the validity.
