The Company
Join a renowned chemical MNC as a Senior Finance Analyst, reporting to the CFO. You will manage 1 direct report based in Singapore and working alongside an accounting team based in another APAC region. The emphasis of your role is to review the accounting work and to conduct high-level analysis of the finances of Singapore and one other region in North Asia.
The Role
On a daily basis, you will review the daily accounting operation. On a monthly basis, you will review variance analysis, cash flow management, review the monthly closing of accounts including preparation of monthly group consolidated financial reports and monthly business reports. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents and prepare business plan and conduct scenario analysis annually. Additionally, you will handle enquiries from banks, cost scenarios and analysis and deliver improvement in accounting and reporting processes.
Your Profile
To be a successful candidate, you must be a Chartered Accountant with Degree in Accounting and possess at least 8 years of solid foundation in accounting, reporting and analysis. You must possess solid analytical and effective business partnership skills and exposure in handling various projects and involvement in continuous improvement activities.
