Looking for a new and exciting opportunity on the outskirts of Exeter?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Group Senior Internal Auditor team based in Exeter.
The Role
The Group Internal Audit function provides value adding, independent assurance to management and the Board on the effectiveness of the risk management and internal control framework.
Taking a risk based approach, the activities of the internal audit function cover a diverse range of financial and operational areas as well as project assurance and other ad-hoc reviews.
- Demonstrating strong technical expertise, superior communication and influencing skills, a commercial yet pragmatic approach and an unquestionable level of integrity you will support in the delivery of the Internal Audit Plan, oversee the team of Group Internal Auditors as well as support the Director of Risk and Assurance in interacting with and reporting to senior management.
There will be a requirement to travel to other locations and sites across the UK. This can involve overnight stays.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in performing risk based internal auditing across both financial and operational areas
Financial accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Extensive commercial internal audit experience
Knowledge of internal audit and risk management methodologies, tools and techniques
Organisation, leadership and supervisory skills are essential
Great communication skills
Very high work ethic

In return for your hard work as our Group Senior Internal Auditor, our client can offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience and a relocation package is available of up to £8,000.
