Success Recruit are currently working with a Practice in North Essex who are seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an Accountancy Practice and have experience using multiple accounting systems including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Receipt Bank and Kashflow.
The successful Bookkeeper will be expected to:
* Excellent Excel skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask

Job Specification
Purpose of the Role
The Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role within the overall finance team, ensuring accurate and reliable information is provided consistently across the business.
Duties to include but not limited to:
* Supporting clients with their queries
* Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
* Prepare and submit clients’ monthly and quarterly VAT
* Process payroll and other journals
* Prepare Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets
* Assist with credit control
* Support with management accounts
* Create running and analysing reports
Hours:
Monday to Friday – 8:30AM – 5:30PM
Salary:
Up to £28,000 DOE
