Hays are working exclusively with Flowminder - a Not for Profit Organisation - Flowminder is funded by Rockefeller Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and United Nations Foundation. We create long-term partnerships with intergovernmental organisations, governments, non-profit organisations and private companies. It's mission is to improve public health and welfare in low- and middle-income countries. The data we provide are global public goods. You will be based out of the Southampton City Centre offices, just a 5 minute walk from the train station. Ideally you will come from a Not for Profit or Charity sector background, however this is not essential, as long as you have the appetite to work for an organisation that is truly empathetic to its cause.

Your new role
The Finance Business Partner will oversee the financial management of the Flowminder project portfolio under guidance of the Head of Finance in collaboration with project management staff across the Foundation. The Finance Business Partner will be a key stakeholder in the development of Flowminder's financial processes, systems and procedures.

Main responsibilities:
? Management and financial reporting for Flowminder's grant and consultancy projects ? Monthly forecasting and monitoring of staff allocation
? Preparation of project accounts as part of monthly management accounting pack
? Assist in all matters related to financial management: planning, forecasting, budget monitoring and reporting
? Updating records and databases for staff salaries, new starter payroll information, etc.
? Assist in the close financial follow-up and reporting of institutional grants in accordance with specific donor requirements
? Support the Head of Finance in annual external audit activities
? Ensure the implementation and development of financial policies and procedures We are looking for:

What you'll need to succeed

? A minimum of three years professional experience in finance, (incl financial analysis), accounting and budgeting
? Demonstrated success in project financial management and reporting, both internally and externally
? Demonstrated success in implementing finance and administration policies and processes
? A genuine interest in, and willingness to further understand, the mission and operations of the organisation

? Tenacity, rigourous attention to detail, outstanding organisational skills, demonstrable ability to prioritise
? Someone who enjoys collaborative work as part of an effective team
? A recognised accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development or Qualified by experience with ongoing professional development.
? Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or GSuite applications, especially Excel or Google Sheets
? Experience working with ERP systems
