Our 5 finance employees are looking for another team member as an Accountant to join their team.

You will handle, prepare, compute, manage, research and analyse accounting data in order to provide quantitative information on performance and financial position of the business. You will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. You will establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying and reporting financial information.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations based on accounting principles (IFRS, Swiss GAAP).
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close activities
  • Publish financial statements in time (IFRS & Swiss GAAP) and ensure timely reporting to Group
  • Prepare the cash flow planning process and provide management with relevant information
  • Participate and prepare balance sheet forecasts and Budget together with Controlling
  • Coordinate and support the Head of Controlling & Accounting in interim, HY and year end audits
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
  • Implement financial internal controls to assure financial accuracy and compliance
  • Collect, analyse and summarize account information
  • Document processes, decisions and other relevant information
  • Collaborates with/manages projects as required
  • Back-up for other team members in their absence

For this role we are looking for someone who:
  • Has an accounting education and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in an international setting
  • Experience working with financial service center
  • In depth knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS, Swiss GAAP etc
  • Knowledge of the use of SAP and other accounting systems such as Cognos are an advantage
  • Fluent in English with any further language such as German a plus
  • Team spirited personality that will quickly grow to be part of the team
  • Someone who is resilliant to change and is highly flexible
  • Someone who goes the extra mile and sees opportunities to change processes
  • An eye for detail and can adher to financial deadlines
