Description
As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Preparing financial statements and reporting including assisting the finance team with the preparation of the primary and supporting financial statements for Group reporting.
- Maintaining core accounting including the integrity of General Ledger, Account Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts.
- Finance support and point of contact for Finance Shared Service Centre, Logistics Service providers, business, customers and suppliers for any non-standard accounting issues.
- Driving improved controls in core accounting areas including reviewing processes involved in AR, AP and GL maintenance
Profile
In order to be considered for the role you will:
- Be either immediately available or available on short notice
- Be studying towards ACCA or CIMA
- Have good Excel skills
- Have previously worked in a finance or accountancy role
