About the role
Role Location: Sydney
Role Type: Permanent fulltime
As part of the ANZ Internal Audit team you will be responsible for providing senior management and the audit committees with assurance over key risks and the effectiveness of the control environment. Your focus will predominantly be in the Wealth business, but also offer significant exposure to the wider Group.
Your role will be to work on audit projects of large size and/or high complexity, perform research and fieldwork for assigned audits.
Your role provides significant opportunity to build enterprise connections and an end-to-end perspective that adds value and builds risk awareness, critical to the Bank's success.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in delivering a risk based internal audit methodology, or similar experience, such as external audit or risk management, including experience in executing audits to high quality standards and drafting and communicating key audit messages, recommendations and reports effectively.
Preferably with experience in the wealth industry, including investments, superannuation and insurance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good listening and interpreting skills.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with colleagues and wide range of stakeholders. Consistently delivers on assigned goals and strives to better these goals despite obstacles, set-backs or uncertainty.
Tertiary qualifications ideally having completed or working towards completion of Professional (CIA/CPA/CA) or Post Graduate qualifications.
