It has various important functions including; operating model stewardship, assurance, design appraisal and change management, horizon scanning, and design centre of excellence. These functions are all critical to ensure that the CT Policing Network is effective and efficient, with the right capabilities and services to keep people safe.

* Completing analysis in support of change implementation and evaluation. For example, assessing design readiness, interdependencies and their impact.

* Providing best practice advice and support to the business in business analysis methods and approaches.

* Providing quality assurance and feedback on organisational design documents and target organisational design/design change(s)/business operating models.

* The above activity will involve liaison and stakeholder management across the CT Policing Network, and horizon scanning for new SDA demand.

Essential Criteria

* Experience of undertaking business analyst activity using formal methodologies and approaches. Including collecting and analysing complex data in order to provide concise and meaningful recommendations.

* Experience of supporting the development of business operating models.

* Experience in reviewing and enhancing business cases and detailed design documents throughout the project lifecycle.

Desirable Criteria

* Professional Project Management qualification by examination (e.g. Prince 2)

* Experience of working in a policing and/or security environment.

* Experience of building confidence with stakeholders and relationships at all levels.
