1 B) MAIN OBJECTIVES:

The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) supports the Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) in the development and administration of a portfolio of Clients. Such Clients need International and Domestic Payments, multi-currency bank accounts, or they may be Money Transfer Businesses. The ARM proactively assists the SRM to manage and administer relationships within the designated portfolio. The ARM role is to contribute to the SRM’s achievement of budgeted revenue and other targets, to provide high quality Client service for enquiries/transactions handling, internal reporting and control.
The role has clear objectives, which strictly adhere to the Banks’s credit standards and risk appetite, both in terms of lending quality and customer integrity, as well as to all Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime policies.
A good working knowledge of the Client’s business, professional delivery, and a high quality service is expected at all times.

1 C) MAIN DUTIES
i) GENERAL DUTIES

SUPPORT THE SRM TO:
 Meet revenue and business targets.
 Maintain an effective customer contact and control programme.
 Complete call reports promptly.
 Maintain comprehensive control of documentation.
 Analyse financial statements/data
 Perform any other reasonable task as required by the SRM and Head of Department.

TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO:
 Improve business knowledge: Participate in educational opportunities; read professional
 publications; grow network.
 Maintain good relations with all members of the relationship management team.
 Maintain, at all times, a business-professional appearance.
 Participate and be actively involved in relevant BFCE initiatives and activities.
 Display exemplary conduct to live by BFCE’s Values and Code of Conduct, and take personal responsibility to follow the highest standards of ethics. (Eg. Regulatory and business conduct.)
 Adhere to Treat Customers Fairly policy.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP
Client Engagement - WITH DIRECTION FROM AND IN SUPPORT OF THE SRM:
 Complete client account opening forms and on-boarding.
 Create profiles for client groups/IDs in systems and update Client static data in a timely,
accurate manner.
 Confirm that KYC is current and complete initial screenings.
 Proactively assist SRM in preparation of account plans and briefing notes.
 Undertake research on sector and prepare client pitch-books/presentations.
 Propose operational solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
 Ensure that the reported revenues are correct.
 Arrange and attend client meetings.
Credit and Financial Analysis - IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SRM:
 Maintain complete client files for credit related documents, correspondence and non-credit documents.
 Organise receipt of information for annual reviews, and ongoing needs (Eg. Analyst reports/Half yearly results.)
 Prepare credit application (for Overdrafts, Loans etc.)

Loans and Documentation – UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE SRM:
 Prepare term sheets, ‘in-principle’ offer letters for lending products. Prepare loan applications
 Co-ordinate with Client, Legal, and Compliance to provide documents for execution.
Compliance, Operational and Risk Management- IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SRM:
 Liaise with SRM/back office functions for day to day account maintenance and operational matters.
 Understand and ensure compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
 Observe the bank's security requirements in respect to bank premises; fire and evacuation; disaster recovery and archiving of bank records.
 Participate in Business Continuity Plan testing.
