IT Business Analyst Europe (m/f/d)

Medical cannabis markets are rapidly expanding in Canada and around the world. Recreational cannabis is on the horizon. Responsibilities:
  • Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about how we work, embedding yourself in core business functions, processes and workflows associated with our finance department and their projects.
  • Working with business partners ensure that local legislative requirements (Legal, Financial, GxP etc) are vetted and reflected in system deployments
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources, Procurement and legal teams to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements to plan and deliver IT solutions to support our growth.
  • Produce timely and high quality requirements–related work products, including requirement specifications, process flows, mock–ups and wireframes.
  • Answer questions and clarify requirements for projects and enhancements during the estimation process.
  • Plan, facilitate and execute system / functional testing and UAT for projects and enhancements and train end users on newly developed enhancements.
  • Project manage all IT projects that impact the administrative operations teams
  • Provide 2nd level support for developed enhancement or implemented apps.

Skill Requirements:
  • Fully Bilingual German and English
  • Graduation from a recognized post secondary institution in related IT or Business Programme
  • Experience with financial, procurement, HR and legal concepts in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Enterprise System deployment in a complex multisite environment with financial, manufacturing, distribution, sales
  • Experience in business analysis and process mapping, working with complex scenarios and leading groups to determine true requirements
  • Experience in application configuration/development and support as well as determining level of effort of ongoing level of effort
  • Experience leading and facilitating working groups comprised of technical and business resources at varying levels using methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Experience with Enterprise ERP systems such as SAGE including: configuration, support, integration, security and infrastructure requirements
  • Experience within regulated environment such as Financial and Pharmaceutical industries and understand associated compliances, regulations and regulatory bodies
  • Certifications in either Certified Associate in Project management (CAPM), Project Management (PMP), or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) would be an asset
