An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Credit Manager role to join the Credit team at a leading bank based in Dubai. The team is responsible for performing credit appraisal, assessment and control.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Appraisal, assessment & control of credit exposures.
Control function, which ensures group takes on assets which meets the standards on lending in terms of risk.
Set up credit policies which allow us to process credit proposals from wholesale banking units within agreed time-frame thereby set up service level agreements which will define turn around time and ensure response levels.
Ensure that lending proposals are in compliance with bank's credit policy and also in compliance with UAE Central Bank's regulatory norms.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum of 10 years work experience covering corporate credit
Knowledge of corporate products including Trade Finance, Treasury, and Syndications/Club deals; and Real estate and Project finance
Strong knowledge of credit risk management including banking practices and procedures
