DESCRIPTION The Junior Receivables Associate will assist in executing the company's credit policy, and the collection of amounts due and receivable from Brokers and Agents. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures the collection of the company's funds within agreed credit terms. Liaises with Brokers and Agents concerning disputed items, collection procedures, and cancellations; Allocate all payments received within the month of receipt; Prepare proper reconciliation between the sub-ledger and the general ledger, monthly; Prepare outstanding premiums list weekly; Prepare the necessary cancellation notices for unpaid premiums; Other tasks as assigned. CSEC-Mathematics, English Language & Accounts CAPE -Accounts Minimum two (2) years accounting experience Must possess some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. KEY COMPETENCIES Excellent oral and writing skills; Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills Must be organized; The incumbent must also be willing to work flexible hours and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and commitment.
