Management Accountant
Based in Ruislip
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits
Europe's leading vending and coffee services company is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant at their UK Head Office in Ruislip, West London. This role would suit a part-qualified accountant or someone with extensive accountancy experience that has been responsible for management accounts.
The Role
You would play a key role as part of a fast-paced and hard-working Finance department, taking sole ownership for reporting and analysis of the operating revenue stream of the business, the largest of the 4 revenue streams. You'll be dealing with large data sets given the high-transaction, low-value nature of the operating revenue stream and the ability to interrogate and make sense of this data is essential:
Responsibilities include:
o Reporting on key overhead accounts and providing commercial commentary
o Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
o Preparation and review of period end balance sheet reconciliations
o Input into board pack presentations
o Supporting the treasury accountant
You must be able to provide commercial insight into the numbers and will also be expected to create and monitor new procedures and efficiencies to streamline those already in place.
The Candidate
The role will suit an individual with proven financial reporting and analysis experience, used to working within a fast-paced environment (experience within FMCG, Retail or similar a huge bonus.) A high standard of problem-solving ability; a creative approach to analysis plus strong competency in manipulating and developing large data sets and spreadsheets is necessary.
You will be a well organised individual, able to multitask and prioritise a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Furthermore, you will be IT literate with advanced Excel and SQL skills and will be a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior management.
