Credit Controller

Accountancy Action is currently working with another recruitment business in order to find them a Credit Controller for their fun, lively finance team. It is a fast paced environment in an expanding sector so is a really exciting opportunity to join a thriving business.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 2 years credit control experience or customer service experience. You must be a confident communicator and be able to liaise with clients with ease. You will be able to prioritise your work load and work efficiently under pressure. If you have worked for a recruitment business before that would be bonus but is not essential.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Chase overdue invoices by phone and email
• Meet debtor day targets
• Conduct meetings with Consultants to ensure all client accounts are managed effectively
• Prepare documents for legal action when cases are escalated
• Ensure daily cash receipts are coded and remittances provided to the Finance team.
