Technical Business Analyst

REED Talent Solutions are looking for a Technical Business Analyst on behalf of HSBC.

Based within Commercial Banking (CMB) Digital Resilience and Cybersecurity, you will work within the IT team to improve and execute controls for resilience, software patch/version upgrade, cybersecurity and fraud monitoring.

Key activities:

- Investigate, classify and analyse operational risk associated with IT systems
- Translate business risk appetite/posture into functional and non-functional requirements
- Produce high quality project artefacts e.g. requirements/user stories, current system topologies, operational process models
- Work closely with developers, testers, support staff and architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical and operational compatibility for agreed solutions

We are looking for:

- 5+ years senior analyst experience within the Financial Services sector
- Professional analyst qualifications e.g. ISEB
- Experienced in Service Management ITILv3
- Proven experience of working in large, complex programmes across multiple streams and geographies
- Complex Business and IT systems analysis
- Non-functional requirements gathering and analysis
- Operational risk assessment
- Technical document writing
- Business case development
