Trainee Accountant
Based: Burnley
Salary: up to 20k + Study Support if needed
Are you looking for your first step into a career in accounts? Are you looking to further your studies and complete an Accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/ACA?
Our client, a fantastic, fast growing business based in Burnley are looking to add a Trainee Accountant to their team on a permanent basis. You must hold a degree at 2:1 or above and have a strong desire to progress and study. This is the perfect opportunity for an entry level candidate who wants to get into finance.
Reporting into the Financial Controller and working within a sociable team, you will assist with; (full training provided).

- Produce monthly Management Accounts Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work place procedures and practices.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets/forecasts.
- Produce high quality work to assist management in making key strategic decisions
- Continually adapt and improve management reports as agreed with the Head of Finance.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist the sales ledger and Purchase Ledger teams.
- Other ad-hoc duties as prescribed by the Head of Finance
