Are you available and interested in a 12 month fixed-term contract working in a Billings / Sales Ledger role for an established global technology business in Central London?
Job title: Billings – Sales Ledger Clerk
Duration: 12 month fixed-term contract
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time - Monday – Friday: 9am-5.30pm
The successful candidate will have previous experience in Finance. Working in a small team and flat structure this role would suit someone enthusiastic, bright and willing to learn, who possesses initiative, a flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
You will be required to balance your own workload within a busy and demanding environment as well as any ad hoc requests that may come from around the office during the day. You will work closely with the MD and Sales team in regards to specific client billings.
Working in a Finance team of 3 and reporting to a Financial Controller and Operations Manager you duties will include:
Generating complex monthly client invoices and spreadsheets using MS Excel
Dealing with client queries relating to invoices raised
Entering Sales invoices onto Sage
Debtors aged analysis
Minimal Credit control via email only
This role would suit someone who enjoys and has a proven background in a Billings focused Finance role.
This is covering a maternity and the current incumbent has already organised and created solid processes and procedures so you won’t need to reinvent the wheel upon starting, there will be a sufficient handover period, it is a supportive culture.
