A global brand based in Rickmansworth are currently seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support wider finance team in processing group charges and clearing any backlog transactions
  • Raise all third party invoices on a timely basis
  • Process and reconcile payroll and expenses journals
  • Perform month end procedures and support preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work with other teams to ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices in line with agreed targets
  • Get involved in an ad-hoc project aimed at improvement of the efficient operation of finance

Skills / Experience Needed:
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience within finance
  • Excel intermediate (effective use of vlookup and sumif formulas)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Appreciation of good financial controls and processes
  • Can-do attitude
  • Effective interpersonal skills which allows the fostering of relationships across the business
  • Confidence to challenge the staus quo in a professional manner and willing to take the lead of initiatives
  • Self-starter who can manage delivery of information from/to stakeholders
  • Strong desire for continued personal and professional development

This is temporary role which will last for a minimum of 2 months. The hourly rate is £11-£12 an hour.
