I am currently working exclusively with an award winning, sought after employer of choice in central Harrogate.

Working in a busy accounts team the role will manage the Management Accounts process for an allocated part of the group.
Key Responsibilities:
*Production of the monthly and statutory accounts for subsidiaries
*Collate information for KPIs and produce accounting packs for different levels within the business
*Reconciliations - including; bank, petty cash, invoice financing, balance sheet and general ledger
*Maintain the fixed Asset Register
*Complete accounts analysis
*Manage cash flows including Invoice Finance
*Answer wide scope of queries and undertake investigative work into errors
*Ad hoc reports to assist other departments including sales and operations
*Ad hoc reports / projects from the FD / FC
*Mentoring junior team members
*Forecasting
*Review processes and implement change
*Managing conflicting deadlines, taking ownership and responsibility for your area
Competencies:
*Advanced Microsoft Office user (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
*Must be able to quickly pick up systems
*Keep up to date with legislation and accounting practices
*Approachable in/outside the team
*Flexible approach and uses own initiative
*Communicating effectively at all levels
