Senior Internal Auditor, Banking

An opportunity has arisen to join a growing universal bank as part of a new team within internal audit. The customer focussed bank has steadily grown over a number of years and is now looking to grow the audit function and are seeking an internal auditor to join them in a delivery focussed role. Reporting to a Manager you will be conducting audits as part of a team or individually from planning through to fieldwork and reporting. The audits will cover a variety of areas such as; risk, finance, compliance and financial crime.

My client is looking for a junior auditor coming from an internal or external audit background. Ideally, you will have prior retail or corporate banking experience and will be ACA, ACCA or CIA qualified or part-qualified. A good understanding of risk and controls will be key and a good knowledge of banking activities, products and regulatory requirements will be advantageous. This is a good opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their internal audit career in a generalist position offering a variety of work as well as a chance to further develop and progress.
