Marketing Officer

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Marketing Officer at JN Life Insurance Company Limited. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing support to the Sales Department, implement marketing and advertising campaigns aimed at increasing the company's market share and enhancing its brand image. The Marketing Officer will also be responsible for contributing to the development of a strategic marketing plan and assisting with development of strategies aimed at increasing growth for the business. Job Category: Supervisory Key Responsibilities Develop project plans, project execution plans and post project evaluation plans Assist the sales team with execution of marketing/promotional activities to achieve sales targets Report on the status and results of strategic and operational activities and initiatives as well as the performance and completion of projects against agreed targets and operational budget Assist with concept creation and manage execution of promotional events and JN Group sponsored activities Participate in community events aimed at increasing brand awareness and opportunities to drive sales Identify opportunities for increasing brand awareness and sales and make recommendations where necessary Assist with the management of the marketing budget and provide monthly report of spending Monitor and process all invoices related to marketing activities Follow up with sales team to ensure that desired marketing/sales objectives is achieved from event Provide photography service on behalf of JN Life utilising the company-assigned camera/photographer Maintain an inventory of promotional materials Monitor all marketing, advertising and sponsorship contracts and placements, secure renewals and advise of terminations in a timely manner Required Qualifications & Experience - BSc. in Marketing, Business Administration or another relevant field - A minimum of three (3) years' experience in the Marketing industry - Knowledge of the operations of Life Insurance industry Personal Attributes Superior analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to clearly organise, record and communicate work product Strong relationship building skills Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation Highly proficient with computer systems and microsoft applications Professionalism, dependability, confidentiality, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude Interested applicants are being invited to forward an updated résumé and cover letter as one document Subject Line: " Marketing Officer - JN Life" Cover letter and resume to be titled : FirstName_LastName_Marketing_Officer JN Life Internal Reference Form to be title : FirstName_LastName_Reference Form Attn: HR Business Partner Group Human Resource Development 15 Braemar Avenue, Kingston 10, Jamaica W.I.
