Manufacturing Industry leader seeking to expand finance function with experienced Management Accountant at their Warrington site.

Client Details

My client has been an industry leader in their chosen field for over 40 years, they specialise in manufacturing and have several industry leading products that they supply in to key industries including construction, manufacturing, agriculture and energy.

They are seeking to grow the finance function to include a Management Accountant at their Warrington site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a like minded senior management accountant to excel in a company with a history of promoting from within and attaining the next level in their finance career.

Description

The successful Management accountant will be responsible for:

  • To provide a management accounting service to generate the month end SAP closure processes, ensuring that the Management Accounts are produced accurately and on time for the business
  • Anomalies and variances investigated and explained, and to lead the forecasting processes.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the month end closure processes of the SAP system
  • Reviewing, investigating variances
  • Leading all forecasting processes
  • Act as substitute for the Finance Manager
  • Production of Management information on monthly basis:
  • Profitability per product
  • VCOS and VSDE information
  • Manufacturing reports (and reviewing them with management)
  • Central Cost Centre reports
  • Producing financial data (Product profitability and Cost Centre history)
  • Confirming BOMS with production staff
  • Adhoc work relating to Sales, Fixed and Variable, stock and fixed assets
  • Production of information for the annual audit from SAP, to be delivered on time and in full. Production of information needed to produce the statutory accounts for all 3 legal entities

    The successful Management Accountant will be

    • Driven
    • Solid career history as a Management Accountant
    • Proficient in SAP (super user preferred)
    • Manufacturing background (Desirable)
    • CIMA/ACCA Finalist
