Our client is a FTSE 100 organisation that operate within the Telecoms, Retail, Utilities and Rail industries, in providing these services to households across the UK. They have a large finance function in Reading and are well known for offering training, development and internal career progression.

Description

The Accountant will be operating within the Telecommunications area of the business, working on the long term Phone Contracts and revenue streams. The Accountant will be responsible for the reporting activities, general accounting and the preparation of the statutory accounts. The role will also include working on budgeting & forecasting activities and will be the central point in liaising with the business partners and the core finance team.

Profile

For this new Accountant position, they are looking for an Accountant who is Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA with a background in technical accounting, reporting and hands on accounting.

Previous experience in larger businesses would be advantageous but not essential.
