This ambitious role is part of the Investment Reporting team within our Investment Operations. We work with a wide range of business partners, including offshore reporting teams and external suppliers and aim to be a centre of operational excellence, crafted by developing a forensic understanding of the reporting processes to minimise production time and errors, increase frequency and enhance business insight into the results. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role to increase team resources for upcoming projects. The Investment Reporting team has responsibility for the accurate supply of asset data from a number of providers to facilitate the processing of asset stressing, accounting, financial reporting, credit risk reporting and control over financial investments across UKL and UKGI. Information fed into accounts and into management for decision-making purposes need to be timely and accurate to avoid potential financial losses, regulatory breaches and reputational issues in the marketplace. The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for project managing and delivering allocated change impacting the investment reporting team and its direct business partners. Duties & responsibilities include: You will be representing investment reporting for allocated change projects and providing regular updates & critical issues to the Senior Investment Reporting Change Manager You'll be working with the wider investment reporting team and its meaningful business partners to understand & document how the allocated change will impact downstream processes You'll manage, test & deliver the impacts of the allocated change through the project and into BAU You'll manage the relationships with external providers and internal business partners in respect of the allocated change You'll provide expert support and advice to the BAU teams, their customers & business partners to inspire change outcomes You'll influence business partners and external third parties to ensure that change solutions are optimal. And you'll maintain an effective control environment including evidencing compliance with our principles whilst protecting finance systems, process and controls throughout the change process The role will also be responsible for the identification of improvements which can be made to existing processes within the investment reporting team to improve efficiency and consistency of process across funds, location and topic area. This position is expected to give appropriate SME support for cross-functional projects and will require close liaison with the appropriate Reporting and Finance change teams. You will need to be comfortable with a significant degree of autonomy but recognise when management should be briefed. You may undertake other activities not directly assigned to this role profile during peak times to enable the team to deliver client requirements to the appropriate quality and timeliness. What skills & experience do you need? Are you Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with relevant financial services experience? Do you have experience and understanding of investments and investment reporting environment? Do you possess a positive personality to address new challenges, and a proven ability to inspire change? Do you have excellent, evidenced stakeholder/relationship & communication skills? Do you have strong influencing & negotiating skills? Do you demonstrate ability to identify & implement process efficiencies and improvements? Do you deliver cross site/team people & process change? Do you possess Excellent analytical skills and a good eye for detail? Are you a self starter, highly resilient & ability to deal with conflict resolution? What will you get for this role?
