My client, a medium sized firm based in South Dublin, is recruiting an audit senior for their team. The successful candidate will gain experience with a wide range of sectors and sizes. It will suit candidates coming from a smaller practice environment who wish to gain experience in a larger practice but who might not want the longer hours involved in some of the bigger practices. Our client actively promotes a positive work/life balance and for the right candidate they can offer flexible working hours. The key duties include: 1. Assist with the planning of audits 2. Attend client audit planning meetings 3. Preparation of financial statements 4. Take responsibility for delivery of high quality audit work and the production of excellent working papers 5. Plan, control and review the work of the audit team, particularly junior staff 6. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts Candidate: Finalist/recently qualified accountant Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
