Financial Accountant

This newly created position is looking for a qualified accountant with 3 years PQE to join a fast growing listed business to become the new Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant will be the 2nd in command to the Head of Finance overseeing the finance team on a day to day basis.

Our client is a fast growing listed business based in the Newbury area, that work within the telecommunications and IT sector who are currently heading through a large transition period. They are a market leader and one of the UK's largest online service providers.

Description

The Financial Accountant will be going in to take over the responsibilities previously held by one of the senior heads in the business. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, this individual will be looking after a team of 4 qualified heads and be responsible for the month end processes, statutory account preparation, working on long term contract revenue recognition and take a hand in the budgeting and forecasting activities.

Profile

The successful candidate must be a fully qualified accountant with ideally 3 years PQE, have PLC experience, have experience of mentoring a team of accountants and preferably have had exposure to revenue recognition standards.

Job Offer

For the successful candidate a package of £50,000-£60,000 depending upon experience plus additional benefits.
