Systems Assistant Accountant

Our large corporate client in Haywards Heath is currently searching for an experienced Assistant System Accountant.

Description

• Assist in ensuring the integrity of the systems of the finance team. Including but not limited to Access Dimensions, FocalPoint, Banking Software

• Help identify, propose and implement process improvements

• Report development, optimisation and delivery

• Ensure system permissions are in line with delegated authorities and approval limits

• Provide a professional and approachable point of contact for stakeholders

• Document system processes and procedures

• Data analysis

• Liaise with internal and external Network Services and IT teams to help resolve any network/server/connectivity issues are resolved promptly

Profile

• Good understanding of basic accountancy concepts

• Working knowledge of Access Dimensions and FocalPoint

• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel

• Working knowledge of SQL

• Experience of succeeding in a deadline driven environment

• Experience of multi-currency environments - advantageous

• Experience of high volume businesses

• Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels within an organisation

• High level of accuracy

• Good attention to detail
