Assistant Accountant - Practice

My client is looking for an accounting professional with a minimum of two years experience (gained from an accountancy practice) with exposure to year end accounts, management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping. Ideally you will be competent using cloud accountancy packages but this can be trained. They would also like you to work towards becoming an ACCA qualified Accountant and will support you through this. In the role you willl be exposed to a large amount of autonomy and flexibility, managing your own workload, supporting the qualified accountants in the team. You role will vary from compliance both management and financial accounting, meeting clients to discuss their business performance, assisting your customers with their financial system, supporting team members or solving the latest problem with some accounts - no two days will genuinely be the same. You will be pleased to hear that timesheets are non-existent in this firm, they offer a real passion for customer care and that includes their staff. You will receive ongoing training and support along with structured quarterly performance reviews to help you fine tune your knowledge and skills to become a qualified Accountant.
