Looking to appoint in VAT at either a Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager level reporting directly to the VAT Associate Partner, your key objective will be to provide sound advice to clients in all areas of VAT in a supporting role, yet with the opportunity to develop.

Joining a fast growing and well established accountancy practice you will be highly skilled, dynamic and able to work well in a team environment to help achieve the firms strategic goal of being the number one advisor to owner managed businesses.

The role will encompass the provision of clear practical VAT advice to clients, working to service deadlines, at the same time as managing evidenced risk. Building relationships both internally and externally to provide VAT advisory work and identify cross-selling opportunities. Furthermore you will prepare technical updates and as the team grows become involved in staff development.

We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years experience of working within a practice environment, advising Owner Managed Businesses on VAT matters, with the ability to handle a portfolio of clients.

Experience of networking, business development and article writing would be advantageous but not essential for this position.

As important is your ability to think commercially, possess good quality communication and letter writing skills along with the ability to manage your time, operating in an organised and efficient manner.

The role requires someone who has good analytical skills along with good judgement. As a person you will be a self-starter with an enthusiastic, can do attitude who is not only reliable but is able to work on their own initiative.
