Whilst this vacancy will see you working predominately in corporate and business tax, the client base requires a wider knowledge of all aspects of tax so those with a mixed background would be welcomed as would those with an appetite to grow their knowledge in both areas.
The position will see you involved in small aspects of corporate tax compliance review but in the main you will be supporting the senior management team with their client work. This can range from business development, client proposals and meetings, tax planning and research and development.
No two projects will be the same and their OMB and SME client base across a range of sectors will keep the job interesting and challenging, however you can expect to find yourself involved in transaction and corporate finance work, succession planning, de-mergers, valuations, EMI & EIS to name but a few.
We are preferably looking for a CTA and or ACA/ACCA qualified Tax Advisor who has current tax planning experience and is forward thinking, energetic and ready for their next challenge… ready to take yourself out of your comfort zone.
We would also be interested to hear from those who have qualified in accountancy with exposure to corporate tax who wish to specialise further of which CTA support would be provided.
It is paramount we find the right people with the right attitude who are committed to advancing their career, can work hard and demonstrate their first class communication skills. An element of technical knowledge can be taught so my client is keeping an open mind as to the level of corporate tax experience you will bring. Ultimately they want to help you in your journey as a tax advisor and welcome you into their growing and successful team.
