Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for driving finance efficiency initiatives by evaluating current end-to-end financial reporting process, documenting, analyzing and recommending opportunities and solutions for improvement and drive efficiency. Liaise and communicate with different parties on process improvement initiatives, including any technology related implementation and testing. Be a change agent to support finance efficiency culture that embrace continuous improvements on finance operation.

Responsibilities:
-Drive group discussion to obtain deep understanding and document end to end finance operations processes across business units in Asia.
-Analyze data and findings to draw business-relevant conclusions, including the definition of process owners, metrics and roadmap of key gaps and improvement opportunities.
-Research on best practice on finance operation and be able to apply this into the improvement opportunities.
-Summarize and present complex issues and recommendation to different stakeholders, including finance leaders and governance board for approval.
-Implement process improvement and execute on continuous process improvement through metrics and scorecard reporting.
-Work with multiple business stakeholders with different background and culture across Asia to solicit user requirements and deliver solutions.
-Document and communicate users requirements to in house or vendors for any technology related developments (e.g. Data visualization tools).
-Design change management and communications plan that reinforces Global and Regional's finance initiatives and key messages.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies/Education:
-University graduated in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or relevant disciplines.
-Minimum 7 years of experience working as a business analyst in insurance, banking or financial institutions.
-Hands on project experience for regional or global application projects.
-Strong analytical, planning, execution and problem solving skills.
-Challenging the status quo, proactive thinking, process minded, and delivery focused.
-Good understanding of data warehouse (e.g. Data Lake), visual and robotic tools.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure and work well under time constraints.
-Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
