Credit Controller

A Credit Control Job In Central Nottingham Paying £10-£12 Per Hour Focusing on Cash Collections and Queries.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the customer accounts, ensuring customer payments are received promptly, within agreed credit terms and in accordance with the Credit Policy. Responsibilities include:

• Production of Credit Control reports
• Debt recovery by telephone and e mail
• Provision of support to other team members
• Prepare and maintain customer account files
• Housekeeping of accounts
• Investigate & resolve customer and internal account queries
• Liaison with other departments
• Filing
• Adherence to company policy and procedures
• Production of customer correspondence and debt recovery letters as required
• Daily banking
• Accurate allocation of cash
• Fortnightly review of accounts with Credit Control Manager
• Produce and distribute customer monthly statements
• Credit check new and existing accounts using online systems
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Credit Control Manager

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that you have recent and demonstrable experience of working successfully in a high volume, faced paced credit environment within a large multi-site organisation. You will ideally have a proven track record of dealing with and successfully resolving queries and issues, and ideally you will have reporting, data manipulation and analysis skills with Excel.
