Trainee/Accounts Assistant

My client whom I have been successfully and exclusively recruiting for over the years, are an established firm of Accountants with a first class working environment and work and employment ethic, who have a new vacancy and are seeking a Trainee Accountant to work in a growing accounts team, developing their career. It is essential that you have a good grounding in working in a firm of Accountants, carrying out accounts preparation and a variety of related tasks with all round experience gained in a fast moving office and accounts environment and can demonstrate how you worked hard and smart to date. You will be studying for an accounts qualification, which could be AAT (or be qualified) or ACCA/ACA/CIMA studier. A role could be created for someone further along their Chartered qualification so do send through an application to start a discussion. You will be a confident communicator as you will be speaking to clients and working closely with external customers, professional people as well as internal contacts. You will have excellent IT skills and a strong self motivating and "can do" personality. An interest in progressing to be a qualified accountant in a future role is essential. You must be able to work in small teams, as there are a small number of people working for this company, however it is a friendly, amicable environment and a good place to work where you will be encouraged to progress your accountancy career and studies. You will be a self starter, self motivated and be able to work unsupervised in the main but mentored, given support and supervision where required.
