The position
As part of the Head of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will support the Chief Finance Officer in managing the National Gallery of Australia’s (NGA) strategic financial planning, analysing financial performance and income generating capability. Other key elements include managing commercial revenue streams, trusts and endowments with a focus on delivery of strategic analysis and advice to the NGA’s senior management and Council.
We are looking for a highly driven finance professional (CPA/CA) with the willingness and passion to build our new finance team, with a view to significant modernisation and a growth agenda to deliver outstanding results.
To be successful in this role you will lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process across the NGA and provide strategic decision-making support to the Executive and the Council. As a commercially minded strategic business partner you will effectively link data, business activities and metrics to support strong organisational financial performance.
This is a full-time, ongoing employment opportunity and is available within the Chief Finance Officer’s Portfolio at the NGA.
