Trainee Accountant - Top 100 Firm

Are you a Trainee Accountant in a firm of accountants but are looking to broaden your horizons within a larger firm? Our client is a Top 100 Accountancy Firm and are looking for an individual to study ACCA/ACA whilst working within their dedicated and dynamic team Location: St Neot's, Cambridgeshire The Role: Title: Trainee Accountant Reporting to senior members of the team, you will be designated work on a varied portfolio, expected to assist with accounts production, personal tax returns and client bookkeeping. You will work closely with experienced Senior Accountants and Partners on a diverse array of clients from smaller limited companies to larger corporate organisations. Main duties: Preparation of year-end accounts to trial balance and/or to final for manager/partner review.Assisting with preparation of audit files and some audit fieldwork, including academy auditsDouble-entry bookkeeping to extended trial balances, bank reconciliations and processing invoicesPreparation of VAT Returns and different VAT Schemes The Individual: AAT studying or qualifiedStrong IT and interpersonal skills12-18 months' previous practice experience If you wish to apply for the position of Trainee Accountant, please apply direct or contact Scott Golding from AJ Chambers
