The ideal candidate will have responsibility for : Examining business processes and controls for compliance with management plans and policies, evaluating whether controls provide management with reasonable assurances regarding the achievement of the company's operational, financial reporting and compliance objectives Executing the full cycle of the audit process from planning through to the review process and completing summary report Ensuring that work papers accurately document work performed and are in accordance with the generally accepted auditing standards Providing supervision to audit staff to ensure audits are efficient and meet objectives Developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with management and personnel at all levels of the organization The ideal candidate should have : Tertiary level education, preferably a degree or professional certification in accounting (CPA, ACCA, CAT, CIA or CGA) Minimum 3 years' auditing experience, preferably in industry Thorough knowledge of auditing practices, techniques and principles Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentation skills Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Excellent leadership skills and positive ethical values Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with TeamMate Audit Management Systems and/or similar tool, including data mining application such as IDEA and ACL would be considered an asset Must be willing and able to travel to various locations within the organization
