Interim Senior Finance Analyst

The role is a finance analyst role sitting in the commercial finance team of a well know music media business.

The client focuses on music media business that is globally known. They have an established finance function of high calibre individuals and are looking for this person to replace a vital employee in the team.

Description

The responsibilities are broad and consist but are not limited to:

Produce and develop detail KPI packs to be review by finance and non finance stakeholders

Be an effective part of the central finance team by providing support, challenge, expertise and a clear framework as appropriate to the overall Sector and to be a diligent partner to the Function Leads.
Ownership of the divisions budget and business partnering the Function leads to perform to budget, supporting ad-hoc transformation activities and providing analysis support
Supporting the planning processes (annual budget / re-forecast and monthly rolling forecast)
Facilitation of the month end results Flash process till close
Developing proactive and meaningful analysis and reports to support the review of and challenge forecasts
Preparing of the management accounts packs, including cash flow, overheads and detailed variance analysis for the Sector
Commercially analysing current portfolio performance, identifying areas where a commercial impact can be made
Providing meaningful executive level analysis of business performance

Profile

The successful candidate comes from either a media or a top ten accounting firm with a move in industry.

They are a couple of years post qualified.
