The firm provides excellent prospects for progression to Manager level, full client portfolio management responsibility and route to carve a key role, in this highly respected firm.

The firm has very wide ranging clients, both in size and industry sector, acting for groups and other clients up to £40 million in turnover, as well as acting for a larger bulk of smaller SMEs and limited companies, under the audit threshold in turnover, with clients across industries including wholesalers, retail, hotels and leisure, importers , manufacturers and service related sectors, as a few examples. Description

Joining as a Senior / Assistant Manager, based from the firms Plymouth offices, in time, you will take on the management of a varied client portfolio, moulded around the background and experience of the right professional. This could be focused entirely on sub audit threshold turnover clients, should the right person have expertise managing clients up to several million in turnover, with an accounts and general practice background for instance. Alternatively, for individuals looking to exit larger firm environment and add value to smaller OMBs and corporate clients, diversifying your career from an audit focus, the portfolio can be moulded to include clients up to £40million in turnover, across groups and include a proportion of audit work.

You will look to fully manage client relationships and take ownership of the delivery of wide ranging services to your clients, ensuring quality service and develop relationships in an advisory capacity. You will help manage the wider team, assisting in their development and look to further the growth of the department and firm in a key role, within this successful business

Profile

You will ACA / ACCA recently qualified, with up to 1 - 2 years or more post qualified experience, with a background in the accountancy practice sector, having developed your career to Senior / Assistant Manager level. Your background will have been developed in any of Top 4/ Top Ten, Mid Tier or independent firm background, of any size. Your experience will have been developed in any of audit for larger corporates, mixed audit & accounts, or an accounts focused background. Most importantly you will be looking for a firm and career move, where you can genuinely add value to clients and the firm, where you can have genuine autonomy to shape your future career direction and path.

Job Offer

£28,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience and background , negotiable
