Based near Radstock this firm acts for wide ranging business, across varied industry sectors the firm has a focus dealing with growth focused limited company corporate clients, family OMBs and SMEs with turnovers into the millions of pounds. Around this the firm acts for smaller clients, sole traders and partnerships and also acts for some very sizeable corporate clients, with audit requirement. The firm looks to act as advisors to their clients, with a focus on client relationships and quality of service, with a very strong team dynamic where the whole team works together on compliance and planning/advisory/project work, to provide the best service to their clients. The environment is forward thinking, with efficient systems and processes in place. Description

Joining as a Senior Accountant / Manager you will enjoy client contact as you will have the chance for significant client contact and involvement, with the potential for autonomy and responsibility here delivering wide ranging accounting/tax etc compliance services and advice, whilst having the support and backing of Senior Managers and Directors around you. It does offer the chance to really develop relationships with clients and get involved in advising and partnering with your clients with the associated project work/accounting and tax planning opportunities that will come with this. The firm is currently in discussions with some high profile and interesting clients as part of their ongoing organic growth which could be key clients to the person coming in as well. The firm provides all around accounting, tax and all around compliance, accounting services and planning/advisory planning to varied clients mainly into the millions in turnover on the majority of their larger clients. Also with some larger corporates around this with some audit requirement. The role can very much be moulded around the right persons technical strengths and areas of interest, so an entirely accounts/tax service provision to clients into the millions in turnover can work very well. Equally should audit be of interest, there could be potential for audit involvement, with a much smaller proportion of the firms larger clients to a smaller degree, with training and support for that side, should your background be all accounts/tax focused only. The firm utilises IRIS, with clients on Xero Quickbooks and online accounting software and the firm has a fully integrated systems with company accounts, tax and personal tax. There is genuine potential to develop and progress in the firm, as a really key addition working as right hand support to Senior Managers and Directors, carving a role here with increasing responsibility and client management as you develop within the firm and role.

Profile

A real all around accounts and tax etc skill set is a must, with experience of hands on accounts preparation and delivery from start to finish for wide ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs and SMEs, along with experience of both personal and corporate tax, gained within an accountancy practice environment . The role will be ideal for a qualified ACA / ACCA or highly experienced and technically strong QBE. You will have developed your career to at least very experience 'Senior'' levels or more likely ' Managerial' levels. Job Offer

Circa £30,000 - £43000 dependent on experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits
